This growing organization is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Claims Examiner to join its Claims Department. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical, dental, weekly disability, and life insurance claims for participants, in accordance with plan benefits, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in on-line claims adjudication, along with a solid understanding of group benefit plans, claims codes, medical terminology, and PPO guidelines.
The Claims Examiner will also provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries from participants and providers via phone, email, and correspondence. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; strong written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to perform data entry, recalculations, and interpret complex plan documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task, meet productivity benchmarks, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment is essential.
