Civil Litigation Attorney – First-Party Insurance Claims (Missouri Licensed)
Location: Remote or Missouri-Based | Experience: 3–5 Years | Practice Area: First-Party Property Insurance
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney licensed in Missouri to join our legal team, focusing on first-party property insurance claims. This role is ideal for a skilled litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in representing plaintiffs in complex insurance disputes.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of direct experience handling first-party insurance/property damage claims, strong analytical skills, and a client-focused mindset. This is a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic, forward-thinking legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent policyholders in first-party property insurance litigation, including claims for storm, fire, water, and other property damage.
Manage all phases of litigation, from client intake through resolution—whether via trial, mediation, or settlement.
Draft and file pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research to support case development and motion practice.
Attend and conduct court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
Develop effective legal strategies to advocate for clients’ interests.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and strategic counsel.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in Missouri (required)
3–5 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong focus on first-party insurance or plaintiff-side litigation
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Confident courtroom presence and experience with hearings, depositions, and trials
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
