Position Summary
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will oversee all technological operations and help drive the company’s strategic vision as it accelerates into its next growth phase. This executive will provide leadership for software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, product development, and technical operations. The CTO ensures all technology processes support both immediate business needs and long-term objectives.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on yet strategic leader with deep experience scaling software platforms, modernizing technology stacks, and managing technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
This is an on-site leadership role based exclusively in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Vision

Develop and execute the long-term technology roadmap aligned with company growth, scalability needs, and market opportunities.
Lead platform modernization, cloud optimization, and architecture improvements.
Evaluate emerging technologies and guide innovation initiatives to improve product capabilities and operational efficiency.
Partner closely with executive leadership to integrate technology strategy with business goals.

Engineering & Product Development Leadership

Oversee software development, engineering management, QA/testing, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
Implement best-in-class development practices, including SDLC standards, code quality frameworks, and release management processes.
Guide the technical architecture for software platforms serving both local and global customers.
Collaborate with product management to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Security, Compliance & Technical Operations

Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, data privacy protections, and system reliability.
Maintain high uptime, system performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
Oversee all cloud environments, servers, and infrastructure supporting production systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Organizational Leadership

Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering and IT organization.
Develop career paths, leadership opportunities, and performance frameworks for technical staff.
Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Communicate technical concepts and strategy clearly to non-technical stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technology leadership, engineering management, or a similar role.
Proven experience overseeing SaaS or enterprise-level software platforms.
Strong technical background in cloud technologies, modern architectures, and distributed systems.
Demonstrated success leading teams through growth, change, and modernization.
Expertise in cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance requirements.
Excellent executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
Ability and commitment to work on-site in Shreveport, Louisiana.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience scaling software for large, diverse, or global user groups.
Familiarity with microservices, containerization, automation, and DevOps framew
