Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a direct hire opportunity in San Jose, CA. This senior finance leadership role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on accounting and finance professional who can guide financial planning, strengthen reporting, support executive decision-making, and help drive long-term business performance.

The Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in corporate finance, financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and operational leadership. Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-range planning.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight, business analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Manage corporate finance initiatives, including cost analysis, profitability review, risk management, and process improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members while promoting accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.
- Support key business decisions through financial modeling, KPI reporting, and data-driven analysis.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $200,000 to $250,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: San Jose, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead corporate finance strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
- Partner with executive leadership on business performance, risk management, and strategic decisions.
- Build financial visibility through reporting, analysis, KPI tracking, and process improvement.

- 3-5 years of relevant finance leadership experience.
- Strong background in corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audit processes, and financial compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to lead teams, improve processes, manage competing priorities, and support organizational growth.

Preferred Qualifications

- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Prior experience in a CFO, VP Finance, Controller, or senior corporate finance leadership role preferred.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, board reporting, strategic planning, or growth initiatives preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and advanced reporting processes preferred.
