This Chemical Operator I Position Features:
The candidate's assignment will include but is not limited to operation of Operate major plant equipment and/or processes (pumps, valves, filters, screens, compressors, dryers, etc.) following standard procedures and practices, as well as participate in system improvement processes. Maintain equipment and diagnoses problems to avoid shutdowns. Drive/Operate a Forklift. Keep records and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. This includes the ability to rate, ratio, percent and to draw as well as interpret bar graphs. Responsible for product quantity and quality (including analytical testing). Be responsible for identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns and be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for providing support to team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes, loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars and other operational activities as needed. The incumbent in this role must demonstrate excellent housekeeping skills, attendance and teamwork. This assignment has the opportunity for full time Operator placement. Must be willing to work rotating shifts as needed. Essential Job Functions Include: Demonstrating good safety standards- Pumping and loading/unloading of tank trucks and rail cars- Troubleshooting equipment- Operating a forklift- Chemical processes

Qualifications:- 3 years' experience as a chemical operator preferred. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a production manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills required. Must work well in a team environment. Demonstrate good work
