We are seeking a Chemical Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Cleveland, OH. This role is ideal for a manufacturing professional with hands-on equipment operation experience who takes pride in safety, precision, product quality, and consistent production performance.
As a Chemical Mixing Operator, you will operate and monitor process equipment used to produce adhesive products, follow detailed batch instructions, and ensure materials are weighed and added accurately. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, a structured production environment, and the opportunity to join a team-focused operation where attention to detail and safe work practices are valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce adhesive products safely and efficiently.
- Follow batch tickets, manufacturing procedures, and precise weighing and material addition instructions.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machinery and production equipment according to specifications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment, process, or product quality issues.
- Inspect products for quality, determine rework or disposal needs, and maintain accurate production records.
- Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25 to $26 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Hours: 40 regular hours per week.
- Location: Cleveland, OH.
- Operate process equipment for chemical mixing and adhesive product manufacturing.
- Follow batch-making procedures, weigh materials accurately, and complete production documentation.
- Monitor product quality, troubleshoot basic process issues, and maintain safe production practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or equipment operation experience preferred for this level.
- Experience operating or monitoring manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to follow precise weighing, measuring, batch ticket, and material addition procedures.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, product quality, and compliance with procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred for production records and equipment-related documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazardous chemical handling experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience in adhesive, chemical, batch processing, or related manufacturing environments.
- Basic troubleshooting experience with production equipment or process issues.
