Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chemical Mixing Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Cleveland, OH. This role is ideal for a safety-focused manufacturing professional with experience operating process equipment, following batch instructions, and producing high-quality adhesive or chemical products in a production environment.

The Chemical Mixing Operator will work in a structured, team-oriented manufacturing setting where safety, quality, accuracy, and consistency are top priorities. Key Responsibilities

- Operate process equipment to manufacture adhesive and chemical products with minimal supervision.
- Follow batch ticket instructions, weighing requirements, and addition protocols to produce approved product.
- Set up, adjust, monitor, and operate production equipment safely according to manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshoot process or equipment issues and identify potential problems during production.
- Monitor product quality, identify nonconforming material, and support rework or discard processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily production records to support manufacturing performance analysis.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.
- 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
- 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate chemical mixing and process equipment to produce batch-manufactured products.
- Follow batch tickets, weighing procedures, and production protocols with accuracy.
- Monitor equipment performance, product quality, and production records throughout the shift.
- Support safe manufacturing operations through adherence to safety, health, and environmental procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience as a Chemical Mixing Operator, Batch Maker, Production Operator, or similar manufacturing role strongly aligned with this position.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for approximately 90% of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific batch making, weighing, and addition instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, route adherence, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in both team-based and single-person production processes.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred for production records, documentation, or system use.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience handling hazardous chemicals in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Forklift experience.
- Prior experience with adhesive manufacturing, chemical blending, batch processing, or similar process manufacturing operations.
- Mechanical aptitude for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production equipment.
