We're seeking a detail-oriented Controller who can provide financial leadership across multiple client engagements while balancing strategic insight with hands-on accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

-Serve as the Controller and trusted financial advisor for multiple clients

-Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

-Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership teams

-Lead month-end and year-end close processes

-Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities

-Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial planning initiatives

-Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies

-Coordinate audit preparation and support annual audits

-Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency

-Mentor accounting staff and maintain strong client relationships


Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience

-Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

-Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

-Experience with accounting software and financial management systems

-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently

-Public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting experience preferred

-Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
