OA Reference: Certified Public Accountant
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven financial professional to join a boutique advisory team that thrives on collaboration, humor, and high standards. If you have a strong foundation in tax preparation, client service, and financial systems—and you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment—this role could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as a primary contact for a portfolio of clients, providing guidance and support across financial documentation and compliance
Prepare individual and business tax filings, including state-level compliance returns
Oversee and review client records in QuickBooks (desktop and online), including reconciliations and reporting
Maintain accuracy and professionalism in all client communications and documentation
Collaborate with a small, agile team that values transparency, feedback, and a good laugh
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Active CPA or EA credential
Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation, including business returns and state excise filings
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with attention to tone and clarity
High level of organization and commitment to client service
Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and online); ability to learn quickly if not already fluent
Comfort working in a high-volume setting with direct client interaction
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check
Willingness to sign confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful client relationships, thrives under pressure, and isn’t afraid of a little constructive feedback. If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a team that values both precision and personality, we’d love to hear from you.
