AppleOne is recruiting an experienced Certified Payroll Specialist to support our client in the construction industry. This role requires strong expertise in construction certified payroll, LCP reporting, and DIR compliance. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for construction projects
Ensure full compliance with LCP (Labor Compliance Program) and DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) requirements
Verify job costing, labor classifications, and wage determinations
Maintain accurate payroll documentation and audit-ready files
Work closely with project managers and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies
Assist with general payroll tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
Construction certified payroll experience (required)
Hands-on experience with LCP and DIR compliance reporting
Strong knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and certified payroll regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work on-site and meet deadlines consistently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Viewpoint payroll or ERP software
Background in construction accounting or job-costing environments
