Seeking a motivated payroll administrator! The position is responsible for administering employee payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process weekly payroll for 150 plus employees
• Review and correct payroll discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Point of contact for all payroll related questions
• Prepare, verify, and submit weekly certified payroll reports
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including tax withholdings and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to stay compliant with payroll law changes
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the security of payroll information
• Assist with other administrative task as needed
Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as required
Experience and Requirements:
• Experience with Paychex and Points North is required
• Knowledge of Certified Payroll and DIR is required
• Three to five years of experience in payroll processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
