Now Hiring: Payroll & Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: On-site
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive, DOE

Are you a payroll professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and keeping fast-moving operations running smoothly? We are seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a growing team and take ownership of weekly payroll, certified payroll reporting, and accounts payable processing in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
Process weekly union payroll for approximately 50 to 120 employees across multiple active projects
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wage laws across multiple counties and jurisdictions
Submit required reports through LSP Tracker and other government portals
Ensure compliance with DIR, Caltrans, and federal prevailing wage requirements
Process accounts payable, including invoice matching, coding, and vendor payments
Maintain organized payroll and AP records with a high level of accuracy
Communicate proactively with internal teams and support additional administrative needs as they arise
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of payroll processing experience
Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance is required
Background in construction, public works, or government contracting is highly preferred
Experience with union payroll and multi-local agreements is a strong plus
Hands-on accounts payable experience
Comfortable learning and working across multiple systems and software platforms
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to step in where needed
Must be able to work on-site. This is not a remote role
