We are seeking a California-licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team as a Project Manager in the Survey Department. This is a leadership opportunity to oversee survey operations, mentor project teams, and manage high-profile land development and municipal projects. The right individual will play a key role in the firm’s future growth, with potential for partnership in the near future. Located in Coastal North County San Diego. Full time, Monday-Friday, $150,000-$170,000 DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and manage a variety of surveying projects from start to finish

-Schedule and oversee office and field survey crews

-Coordinate with clients, engineers, and staff to ensure quality and accuracy

-Prepare and review boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys

-Draft plats, legal descriptions, subdivision/parcel maps, and Records of Survey

-Provide mentorship and technical support to field teams

-Perform QA/QC on all survey documents

-Collaborate with civil engineering and planning departments

-Assist in preparing proposals, estimates, and project schedules


Who You Are:

-Must be a Licensed California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

-Proven leadership and project management experience

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills

-Highly organized, self-motivated, and client-focused

-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

-Open to relocation to the San Diego area

-Ambitious with potential to grow into a partnership role in the near future
