Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for developing, color matching, testing and preparing glazes, and maintaining the glaze preparation area.
Duties include: • Checks finished product for freeze and thaw, chemical resistance, shivering and adhesion • Assess incoming color samples to determine application techniques that will be successful in production • Organizes safety meetings and inspects department.
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of school and experience required • Three to five years of applicable experience in a clay products manufacturing plant. Excellent benefits including Medical, 401K and Profit sharing. Full time position, Mon - Friday
