The Power Supply Technician will support the fabrication, preparation, casting, coating, and inspection of composite components used in a biotechnology and pharmaceutical-related manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

- Work from blueprints, templates, sample parts, and process sheets to fabricate and finish components to required dimensions and tolerances.
- Assist with mold and form preparation, including routing, drilling, trimming, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Mix and pour epoxy resins into molds for transformer coils and components while following proper degassing and vacuum pressure procedures.
- Apply spray coatings using a high-volume low-pressure spray gun and prepare composite surfaces for painting and finishing.
- Inspect finished castings for defects such as voids, cracks, and dimensional issues to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Maintain quality control records, support the development of shop aids, keep the work area organized, and follow all safety procedures.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Fabricate, trim, sand, coat, and finish composite parts according to blueprints and process documentation.
- Prepare molds, mix epoxy resins, pour castings, and support vacuum bagging or mold casting processes.
- Inspect completed components for quality, defects, and adherence to required specifications.
- Maintain accurate quality records while supporting a safe, clean, and organized work area.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on manufacturing, fabrication, composite, or skilled trades experience.
- Familiarity with composites, manufacturing processes, layup, lamination, and blueprint reading.
- Experience with vacuum bagging, mold casting, fabrication, prepreg materials, or carbon fiber.
- Proficiency using hand tools such as hand drills, scissors, and electric heat guns.
- Experience using measuring instruments such as scales and calipers.
- Ability to follow process sheets, safety procedures, and quality standards with strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and demonstrated stability in previous roles.
- Ability to work extended hours when needed and lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to meet respirator certification requirements if required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience applying spray coatings with a high-volume low-pressure spray gun.
- Prior experience inspecting epoxy castings, composite parts, or molded components for voids, cracks, and other defects.
- Experience supporting shop aid development for fabrication, trimming, or assembly processes.
- Background in a regulated manufacturing environment, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, aerospace, medical device, or precision industrial manufacturing.
