Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier for an on-site opportunity in Naples, FL. This role supports a busy public-facing collections environment within the Traffic Division, assisting customers with payments, cash handling, data entry, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring strong cashiering experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions. Key Responsibilities

- Accept and process customer payments accurately, including cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
- Handle cash transactions, balance payment activity, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Enter payment and customer information into Excel and other software systems.
- Prepare reports and support daily documentation requirements.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service in a high-volume public-facing setting.
- Support the Traffic Division with cashiering, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $18.00 per hour.
- Location: Naples, FL 34112.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with possible extension to 4:30 PM.
- Overtime may be available.
- Work arrangement: On-site.
- Assignment length: Long term.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process customer payments and accurately handle cash, debit card, and credit card transactions.
- Enter payment information and related data into Excel and other software programs.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Provide professional customer service in a structured, public-facing environment.

- 2 to 3 years of cashiering, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in banking, financial services, retail cashiering, Amscot-style customer service, or high-volume retail customer service is strongly relevant.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
- Strong data entry skills with good accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn and use multiple software systems.
- Stable work history and dependable attendance.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work with the public.
- Must be able to complete a Level II background check, DMV check, and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience as a bank teller, customer service representative, retail cashier, or financial services cashier.
- Experience handling high-volume customer transactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience working in a government, court, collections, or payment processing environment.
