Immediate need for a Cash Specialist for our client located in Sunrise, FL.

The Cash Specialist will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of cash transactions, with a primary focus on receiving and recording payments. This position requires a high level of proficiency in Excel pivot tables and V-lookups. The role involves ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations during the processing of various payment methods, including checks, ACH, and credit cards.

Must have experience in processing and applying payments

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AR/billing software.

Duties Include:

• Receive and record all cash transactions and process payments, which include checks, ACH, and credit cards.
• Identify daily unapplied amounts and post to customer accounts.
• Create account reconciliation to identify discrepancies prior to payment application.
• Prepare and reformat payment files and upload them to the system.
• Process Credit Card payments, provide the receipt to customers and monitor the payment application after settlement.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances in a timely manner.
• Enter credit memos for group accounts.
• Prepare refunds packages and process the necessary chargebacks.
• Assist customers or clients with cash-related inquiries or issues.
