Cash Application Representative (Part Time)

•Schedule: Part Time Hybrid; 20 hours per week with 2 in-office days
•Compensation: $45.00/hr.
Overview
The Cash Applications Representative (Part Time at 20 hours per week) ensures the timely and precise allocation of payments for fees and disbursements to customer accounts and general ledger accounts. They will assist intra-departmental teams to resolve accounts, post, and allocate all sales ledger receipts, and perform related duties. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work.
Responsibilities
•Collaborating closely with Cashiers to receive post and allocate all sales ledger receipts.
•Reconcile payments and transfers posted to the sales ledger with customer accounts.
•Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales information.
•Maintain timely identification of variances.
•Prepare, reconcile, and post all approved JV vouchers, within or outside of the ledger (as applicable).
•Work with the Credit & Collections team to ensure payments are applied based on appropriate customer documentation.
•Additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•High school diploma.
•1-3 years of experience in cash posting and/or accounting.
•Strong analytical, detail, and organizational skills.
