Position Summary
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to support patients with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. This role involves addressing patient needs, questions, and concerns, and occasionally communicating with prescribers, managed care organizations (MCOs), and authorized caregivers. Accuracy, compliance, and efficiency are essential in our fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
Provide patient support with empathy and professionalism.
Communicate with physicians, MCOs, and caregivers as needed.
Ensure full compliance with state and federal laws and internal pharmacy policies.
Support medication handling, dispensing, and distribution processes within accepted practice standards.
Requirements
Associate Degree as a Pharmacy Technician (required).
Valid Pharmacy Technician License (required).
Specialized training in benefits access or pharmacy/medical requirements (preferred).
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; knowledge of pharmacy benefit access processes preferred.
