Our Manufacturing Client based in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a detail-driven Calibration Technician or Quality Inspector or Manufacturing professional who enjoys working with precision tools, solving problems, and learning how a business operates behind the scenes.
This is not just another technician role. It’s a hands-on developmental opportunity inside a specialized metrology and calibration lab, working directly with the owner of the business. You’ll learn the technical side of measurement and inspection—and how a precision-focused business runs day to day.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll start by learning the core operations of the lab and gradually expand your responsibilities as your skills grow:
• Support daily operations in a precision metrology and calibration lab
• Assist with inspection, measurement, and calibration of customer parts and equipment
• Work hands-on with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Learn and follow quality standards, lab procedures, and documentation practices
• Maintain accurate calibration records, reports, and quality documentation
• Assist with equipment setup, verification, and basic maintenance
• Support internal quality processes and continuous improvement efforts
• Work directly with the owner to understand lab operations, customer relationships, and business workflows
• Take on increasing responsibility as your confidence and capabilities grow
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need to know everything on day one—but you should already have a foundation and a strong desire to learn.
Required:
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, or metrology
• Basic familiarity with common measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail—you notice the small things
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable documenting your work
• Interest in learning both the technical and business sides of the operation
• Ability to work onsite in the Dallas–Fort Worth area
Nice to Have (Not Required):
• Exposure to ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 17025
• Experience in a machine shop, manufacturing environment, or calibration lab
• Familiarity with GD&T or inspection reports
