Job ID: 1803477
Reference Code: AN-Cable-Assembler Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cable Assembler Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled hands-on builder who can take engineering drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and a complete kit of materials, then independently produce a finished cable, wire harness, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly that meets specification.
This is not a repetitive assembly-line position. The right candidate will be trusted to own complete assemblies from start to finish in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. You will work with detailed documentation, quality standards, and a collaborative production team focused on precision, reliability, and strong workmanship.
This opportunity is a strong fit for dependable technicians who take pride in quality, enjoy building complex assemblies, and want a stable path into a long-term role with a professional manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build complete cable, wire harness, mechanical, or electromechanical assemblies from engineering drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and specifications.
- Receive kitted materials and independently assemble finished products according to documented procedures and quality requirements.
- Perform cable assembly tasks such as wire preparation, stripping, crimping, connector assembly, routing, labeling, and related harness processes.
- Work with a variety of hardware, connectors, wiring, components, and subassemblies to complete high-quality builds.
- Identify drawing, material, fit, or assembly issues and communicate concerns before continuing production.
- Maintain strong workmanship standards, attention to detail, dependability, and consistent production quality.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $27 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Fremont, CA.
