A growing, privately owned cabinet manufacturing company in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Cabinet Drafter to join its onsite team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented drafting professional with strong Cabinet Vision experience and a background in cabinetry, millwork, or custom manufacturing.

The Cabinet Drafter will create accurate construction drawings, 2D and 3D CAD details, CNC part layouts, cut lists, and production-ready documentation for cabinet fabrication and installation. This role works closely with project managers, sales, production supervisors, and field teams to turn design concepts, measurements, and revisions into functional drawings that support efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed construction drawings, 2D CAD details, 3D CAD details, CNC part layouts, cut lists, and production documentation for cabinet manufacturing projects.
- Use Cabinet Vision to manage libraries, catalogs, bills of materials, optimization, and project detailing requirements.
- Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, field measurements, field changes, lot and unit options, and project-specific specifications.
- Partner with project managers, sales, production supervisors, and field teams to resolve design issues, revisions, and manufacturing concerns.
- Identify potential design or fabrication issues before production release and recommend practical solutions.
- Follow company drafting standards, internal audit procedures, checklists, and quality review processes prior to releasing jobs to production.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Location: Corona, CA, onsite.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Create cabinet detailing drawings, CNC part layouts, cut lists, and production-ready documentation.
- Develop and maintain Cabinet Vision libraries, catalogs, bills of materials, and optimized parts.
- Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, field measurements, and project changes.
- Coordinate with sales, project management, production, and field installation teams to support accurate manufacturing.

- 2 or more years of experience in a similar cabinet drafter, cabinet detailer, cabinet designer, or millwork drafting role.
- Required experience in millwork, cabinet manufacturing, or a related fabrication environment.
- Required working knowledge of Cabinet Vision software.
- Significant understanding of S2M (Screen to machine).
- Ability to create detailed cut lists, run parts, and support CNC shop production requirements.
- CNC shop and field installation knowledge required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, operating instructions, safety guidelines, procedure manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to read a tape measure and convert nominal measurements accurately.
- Strong basic math, statistical, and numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and communicate effectively with sales, production, project management, and field personnel.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to create and modify Cabinet Vision catalog items.
- Experience developing master project templates or standards for repeatable production use.
- Strong knowledge of lot and unit options versus standard project configurations.
- Experience identifying manufacturing constraints and recommending efficient design solutions.
