A growing, long-established cabinet manufacturing company in Corona, CA is seeking a Cabinet Drafter to join its onsite team in a direct hire career opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented drafting professional with cabinet, millwork, or construction industry experience who enjoys turning concepts, measurements, and architectural plans into accurate production-ready drawings.

The Cabinet Drafter will work closely with project managers, sales, and production supervisors to create 2D CAD details, 3D CAD details, CNC part layouts, programs, and cut lists for custom cabinet manufacturing projects. This is a stable opportunity with a family-owned manufacturing environment, supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and a company history of more than 60 years in business.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed construction drawings, including 2D CAD details, 3D CAD details, CNC layouts, programs, and cut lists for production.
- Translate concept designs, blueprints, field measurements, and project requirements into accurate manufacturing documentation.
- Work with Cabinet Vision libraries, catalogs, bills of materials, cut lists, and part optimization processes.
- Partner with project managers, production supervisors, sales team members, and field contacts to resolve design changes, revisions, and production issues.
- Identify design or drafting issues that may impact manufacturing and recommend practical solutions.
- Follow internal drafting standards, audit procedures, checklists, and quality review processes before releasing jobs to production.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Range: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Plus Overtime as needed
- Work Location: Onsite in Corona, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Create construction drawings, CAD details, CNC part layouts, cut lists, and production-ready documentation.
- Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, field changes, and measurement updates for cabinet manufacturing projects.
- Support project managers, production supervisors, and sales team members with revisions, corrections, and drawing coordination.
- Follow established drafting standards, internal audit procedures, and quality checklists before production release.

- 5+ years of experience in a similar cabinet drafting, detailing, or design role.
- Experience in construction, millwork, cabinet manufacturing, or a related production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, safety guidelines, procedure manuals, and technical documents.
- Working knowledge of drafting, design, cabinet libraries, catalogs, bills of materials, cut lists, and part optimization.
- Ability to understand lot or unit options, standard configurations, and project-specific revisions.
- Basic math skills with the ability to read a tape measure and convert nominal measurements.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to identify drafting or manufacturing issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Team-oriented communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, production, project management, and field teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of Cabinet Vision software.
- Significant understanding of S2M.
- Ability to create or modify catalog items.
- Experience developing master drawings or project templates for cabinet production.
- CNC programming or manufacturing layout experience in a cabinet or millwork environment.
