A growing, privately-owned cabinet manufacturer in Corona, CA is seeking a Cabinet Designer/Drafter for a direct hire career opportunity. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented design professional with cabinet or millwork manufacturing drafting experience who enjoys turning concepts, field measurements, and architectural plans into accurate production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D CAD details, 3D CAD details, CNC part layouts, cut lists, and production drawings for cabinet fabrication.
- Translate concept designs, field measurements, blueprints, and architectural drawings into functional manufacturing documents.
- Work with project managers, production supervisors, sales teams, and field personnel to resolve design questions, revisions, and production issues.
- Identify design or detailing issues that may impact successful manufacturing and recommend practical solutions.
- Develop project masters, manage lot or unit options versus standards, and follow established company drafting and detailing procedures.
- Review drawings and job packages using internal audit procedures and checklists before releasing work to production.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Corona, CA.
- Work Arrangement: Onsite.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Create drawings, CAD details, CNC layouts, cut lists, and production-ready cabinet documentation.
- Interpret field measurements, blueprints, architectural drawings, and project changes.
- Coordinate revisions and corrections with project managers, sales teams, production supervisors, and field contacts.
- Prepare accurate job packages for release to manufacturing and CNC production.

- 5+ years of experience in a similar Cabinet Designer, Cabinet Drafter, Cabinet Detailer, or Millwork Drafter role.
- Experience in construction, millwork, or cabinet manufacturing is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, safety guidelines, procedure manuals, and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of cabinet detailing, catalogs, bills of materials, cut lists, part optimization, and production workflows.
- Ability to read a tape measure and convert nominal measurements accurately.
- Basic math skills with strong numerical and statistical ability.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to following company standards.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team in a manufacturing and production-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cabinet Vision software.
- Significant understanding of S2M.
- Ability to create and modify catalog items.
- CNC shop, cut list, parts processing, and field installation knowledge.
- Experience working with cabinet libraries, catalogs, bills of materials, cut lists, and optimization of parts.
