The CRM Specialist will support the day to day operations of this growing department, including fostering relationships with our client base and providing the groundwork for our teams to efficiently and effectively cultivate sales. The CRM Specialist will process leads and contacts, ensuring that the database remains clean and operational. Will also work cross functionally, gaining an intimate knowledge of our product portfolios and the structure of our sales team and distribution roles, in order to assign leads and contacts for follow-up.
• Qualifies leads/prospects that have responded to client marketing program or submitted a question through email or our website through telequalification (phone) or email.
• Assesses all inbound lead requests and process through the proper follow up channel, whether that is internal sales, distributor, dealer, or reseller.
• Assists with preparing collateral and technical literature (e.g. Qualification Guides, Validation Guides, spec sheets, brochures) to fulfill customer and prospect inquiries.
• Ensures data integrity within the CRM system by eliminating duplicate leads, contacts and accounts, and by training other users to do the same.
• Runs reports on campaigns, leads, contacts or activities as needed for follow up.
• Generates monthly management reports.
• Manage and assess follow up activities to aid in the evaluation of territories and sales coverage.
• Assists marketing in a supporting role when needed.
• Prioritizing and handling routine client requests which may include routing Quality Inquiries for Certificates of Quality.
This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
The skills and experience you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing communications, sales, or CRM related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English Language with both external clients and our internal sales team.
• Must have excellent investigative skills since work will involve research and seeking out the proper Subject Matter Expert to aid in answering customer and prospect questions.
• Must be trustworthy and reliable, have excellent interpersonal skills and work well independently as well as within a team structure.
• Must be extremely well organized and able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
• Eager to learn/grow and be self- motivated to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Must be strong with MS Office Suite including, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. CRM experience is a plus.
• Proactive, self-starter with strong critical thinking skills.
