CNC Machinist – Weekend Shift
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
(32 hours per week with a 25% shift premium — equivalent to 40-hour pay)

About the Position
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team on the weekend shift. This position is ideal for an experienced machinist who enjoys a focused work schedule with excellent pay and steady hours.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating multi-spindle bar-fed mill-turn CNC lathes to safely produce precision components within specification. You’ll work in a clean, climate-controlled facility using state-of-the-art CNC equipment and collaborate with a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes using M & G codes
Load, write, or edit existing programs to produce parts accurately
Perform machine setup and dry run in single block mode to verify program integrity
Produce and document first article inspection parts per ISO standards
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments
Perform routine machine maintenance, including checking oil, lubricants, and coolant
Report equipment issues promptly and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications
Proficient in M & G code programming and CNC machine setup
Strong understanding of machining processes and precision measurement tools
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Good math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Min of 1 years - ideally 2-3 years of experience
