CNC Programmer / CNC Machinist – Mastercam (Haas)
A growing precision manufacturing company in Camarillo, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / CNC Machinist with strong Mastercam programming experience and the ability to independently set up and run Haas CNC Mills and Lathes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for steady overtime, strong pay, great benefits, and a stable team-oriented shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
Create, modify, and prove-out programs using Mastercam
Perform precision machining operations including:
Turning, facing, boring, drilling
Milling, reaming, tapping
Slotting, grooving, threading
Read and interpret 2D blueprints and 3D solid models
Write and edit programs both at the machine and using Mastercam
Design and develop tooling and fixturing
Load CNC programs using DNC systems
Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments
Machine parts to tight tolerances
Participate in program prove-outs and manufacturing planning
Maintain daily production records
Assist with training CNC Setup and Turning Center Operators
Perform routine machine maintenance
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
Recent hands-on Mastercam programming experience (REQUIRED)
Strong experience operating CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
Ability to program, set up, and run jobs independently
Experience reading blueprints and solid models
Knowledge of tight tolerance machining and inspection
Willingness to work daily overtime Monday–Saturday
Ability to meet ITAR requirements
Must pass background check and drug screening

Manual mill and lathe experience
Tooling and fixture design
Experience in high precision manufacturing environments
