Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing team in Adelanto, CA. Key Responsibilities

- Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery to produce precision parts.
- Complete machine setups including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and machining strategies.
- Work with CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, and vertical boring mills.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, make adjustments, maintain production documentation, and support preventative maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
- Perform machine setups involving tooling, fixtures, offsets, and workholding.
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Inspect parts and make adjustments to maintain quality and production standards.

- 3 to 5 years of CNC machining, programming, setup, and operating experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, and vertical boring mills.
- Experience with tooling selection, offsets, fixtures, workholding, and machining strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and resolve quality concerns.
- Skilled in using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality parts.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and shop leadership.
- Commitment to following safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
