Key Responsibilities

- Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment to produce precision-machined components.
- Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and machining strategies.
- Operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Horizontal Mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Maintain production documentation, support preventative maintenance, and follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Program CNC equipment and develop machining strategies for precision components.
- Perform full CNC machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and workholding.
- Operate and troubleshoot CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Horizontal Mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
- Support quality, safety, documentation, and continuous improvement in a production environment.

- 6 to 10 years of CNC machining, CNC programming, setup, and operating experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Experience with precision inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, feeds and speeds, offsets, workholding, and machining best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make accurate adjustments to maintain quality and production standards.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, problem-solving ability, and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work well with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and shop leadership in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-precision or quality-driven manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting process improvements, setup reduction, and machining efficiency initiatives.
- Cross-functional experience working with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
