Job Summary
A direct hire opportunity is available for a CNC Operator in Carson City, NV. This role is ideal for a manufacturing professional with hands-on machining experience who takes pride in producing high-quality parts, following precise specifications, and contributing to a safe, organized production environment.
The CNC Operator will program, set up, and operate CNC machines and conventional machines to support production requirements and meet strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines and conventional machines according to production specifications.
- Load programs and perform simple program edits as needed under supervisor direction.
- Inspect and measure parts using hand-held measuring tools to confirm specifications are met.
- Blend surfaces and apply or remove excess material using hand tools or machinery.
- Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools for part modification and production work.
- Maintain 5S standards while following company health, safety, environmental, ISO quality, and ethical standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $19.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Location: Carson City, NV.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
- Inspect, measure, and verify parts to ensure production specifications are met.
- Perform simple program edits and machine setups as directed.
- Support production quality, safety, and 5S standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Passing grade on a job-related test required.
- Minimum two years of CNC or related machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to use hand-held measuring tools.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing exceptional quality parts.
- Must be able to follow production specifications for assembly and modification of manufactured parts.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of CNC machine operation experience.
- Experience performing basic CNC program edits.
- Experience with 5S standards, ISO quality requirements, or manufacturing quality systems.
- Experience using fixtures, hand tools, measuring tools, and conventional machines in a production environment.
