Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Operator - Graveyard for a direct hire opportunity in Carson City, NV. The CNC Operator will program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines according to production specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines and conventional machines according to production specifications.
- Load programs and perform simple program edits as needed under supervisor direction.
- Inspect and measure parts using handheld measuring tools to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
- Blend surfaces and apply or remove excess material using hand tools, machinery, fixtures, and related equipment.
- Perform part modifications to specification and follow production requirements for newly manufactured parts.
- Maintain 5S standards, follow safety and environmental policies, and support quality requirements related to customer satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $19.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Shift: Graveyard.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Primary duties and projects include:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
- Inspect and measure machined parts to verify compliance with specifications.
- Perform basic program edits and machine adjustments as directed.
- Support production quality, safety, 5S, and ISO-related customer satisfaction standards.
Required qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Passing grade on job-related test required.
- Minimum two years of CNC or related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to use handheld measuring tools accurately.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Ability to follow company health, safety, environmental, ethical, and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with simple CNC program edits.
- Familiarity with 5S standards, ISO quality expectations, and production inspection processes.
- Experience using fixtures, hand tools, and measuring equipment for part modification and quality verification.
