CNC Machinist / Programmer – Mills & Lathes

A well-established aerospace manufacturing company in Camarillo is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer with strong Mastercam programming experience and hands-on work with Mills and Lathes. Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes
Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam
Machine components from forgings, castings, and bar stock
Perform machining operations including turning, facing, boring, drilling, milling, reaming, tapping, slotting, grooving, and grinding
Interpret engineering drawings and work orders
Ensure parts meet required tolerances using precision measuring and inspection tools
Load and manage programs using DNC systems
Participate in program prove-outs, tooling design, and manufacturing planning
Maintain accurate production records and quality standards
Support training of operators and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
? Recent hands-on Mastercam programming experience
? Experience programming and operating CNC Mills and Lathes
? Ability to create programs from 2D prints and solid models
? Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and tolerances
? Experience with Haas machines preferred
? Ability to write programs directly at the machine when needed
Additional Experience (Preferred)
Manual lathe and mill experience
Tooling or fixturing design
Experience with aerospace machining standards
Requirements
Must meet ITAR compliance requirements
Must pass background check and drug screening
Must be able to work daily overtime Monday–Saturday
