This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who is confident with CNC setup, programming, troubleshooting, and precision part production. Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery to manufacture precision components to specification.
- Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, work holding, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
- Set up and operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Horizontal Mills, and Vertical Boring Mills.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Supervisors to resolve machining, tooling, and production challenges.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 10:00AM to 6:30 PM.
- Overtime may be required based on business and production needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform CNC programming, machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting for precision component production.
- Complete tooling, fixture, offset, and work holding setups for CNC milling and turning equipment.
- Inspect machined parts and complete required production and quality documentation.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve machining processes and maintain quality standards.
- 6+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Strong experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation.
- Hands-on experience with CNC milling and CNC turning.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, fixtures, workholding, and machining best practices.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machining, tooling, and equipment issues.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday and perform frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety, quality, ISO procedures, environmental procedures, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Horizontal Mills and/or Vertical Boring Mills.
- Conventional machining experience.
- Technical college, trade school, or machining-related education.
- Experience working independently in a production manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
