Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision? We're seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop.
If you have strong mechanical aptitude, G-code programming skills, and a sharp eye for detail, this role is for you.
Position Overview
As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills. You will ensure that each job meets high quality standards through precise programming and inspection, and play an important role in continuous process improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision
Write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code for production jobs
Perform first article and in-process inspections using standard measuring tools
Read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Maintain machines, tools, and workstations in a clean and organized condition
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work overtime as needed
What You Bring
2 or more years of hands-on CNC machining experience
Strong understanding of machining methods for metals and plastics
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, microscopes, and other inspection tools
Ability to operate multiple CNC machines and make minor G-code edits
Familiarity with SolidWorks or Fusion 360 is a plus
Ability to work a consistent schedule and stand for long periods
