CNC Machinist — Mills and Lathes- OT available
Pay: Up to $56,000 annually DOE

About the Role
Join a precision, high-mix shop where quality and throughput both matter. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC vertical and horizontal mills and CNC lathes from first article through final inspection. If you take pride in clean setups, tight tolerances, and zero rework, you will fit right in.
Responsibilities
• Set up and run CNC mills and lathes using Haas, Fanuc, or similar controls
• Perform tool changes, set work and tool offsets, make program edits in G-code
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T to meet print and process requirements
• Hold tight tolerances to ±0.0005 in and verify first-article parts
• Conduct in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, height gauges and document results
• Work across aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics
• Maintain 5S, safety, and quality procedures while collaborating with Engineering and QA to improve cycle times and solve issues
Qualifications
• 3 plus years of CNC machining on both mills and lathes including setups and production
• Strong blueprint reading, shop math, and GD&T fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with tooling selection, workholding, speeds and feeds, and offset adjustments
• Track record of high first-pass yield, strong throughput, and low scrap
Nice to Have
• Mastercam or Fusion 360 familiarity
• Probing or CMM basics
• 4 or 5 axis exposure
