Job Summary

A growing manufacturing team in Valencia, CA is hiring a CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented machining professional with CNC grinding experience who enjoys precision work, hands-on production, and contributing to high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

The CNC Machinist will train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and related manufacturing documentation.
- Edit, maintain, and verify CNC programs to support accurate and efficient production.
- Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to confirm product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting production goals and continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Train on 1st shift, then transition to 2nd shift.
- 2nd shift schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Required qualifications and skills:

- 1 to 2 years of CNC machining or CNC grinding experience.
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Walter or Star CNC tool grinders.
- Experience with Toolstudio, Numroto, or Walter Helicheck.
- Previous experience in precision tool grinding or similar CNC grinding applications.
