A CNC Machinist opportunity is available in Canoga Park, CA, supporting precision manufacturing work within the aerospace and defense industry. Key Responsibilities

- Operate and/or set up CNC machining equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
- Perform dimensional checks using measuring and inspection tools to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
- Maintain tight tolerances while following established production and quality standards.
- Support daily shop operations by following safety, workflow, and documentation procedures.
- Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or equipment needs to the appropriate team members.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $28 to $40 per hour.
- Location: Canoga Park, CA.
- 1st & 2nd Shift



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate CNC machining equipment in a production or precision manufacturing environment.
- Set up CNC equipment as needed to support machining requirements.
- Read blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Inspect machined parts using measuring tools to verify quality and tolerance requirements.

- 1 to 2 years of recent CNC machining experience.
- Stable CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating and/or setting up CNC equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and shop math skills.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and maintain quality standards.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and production specifications.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience.
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools in a quality-focused production environment.
- Previous experience supporting tight-tolerance machining requirements.
