Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, setup sheets, and job travelers.
- Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other standard measuring tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Make basic machine adjustments and communicate issues related to tooling, materials, machine performance, or part quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing and safety standards.
- Support production goals by following schedules, quality requirements, and established machining procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $21 to $23 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate CNC machinery to produce precision aerospace and defense components.
- Perform part inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
- Follow setup instructions, job travelers, and production requirements.
- Support safe, efficient, and accurate machining operations.

- 1 to 2 years of CNC machining experience.
- Basic ability to read blueprints, drawings, and machining instructions.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Understanding of machining processes, tooling, offsets, and quality checks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate parts.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn in a precision production setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience machining parts for aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with tight tolerances and quality-focused production requirements.
- Experience with CNC mills, CNC lathes, or multi-axis machining equipment.
- Basic knowledge of shop math, GD&T concepts, or inspection documentation.
