Job Summary

A growing aerospace and defense manufacturing organization in Ventura, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its team on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist with CNC and conventional machining experience who enjoys precision work, complex setups, and contributing to high-quality aerospace components and tooling.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate tools, fixtures, component parts, and other items using drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions.
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools, including mills, lathes, power mills, and related hand and power equipment.
- Produce parts involving non-routine setups and close, complex tolerances.
- Perform basic machine programming and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Read and interpret scaled drawings to support machining operations.
- Maintain safe operations and keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Shifts available: 1st and 2nd shifts.
