Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Load materials, select tooling, monitor machine operations, and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, identify process improvements, and support consistent production flow.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records while following safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Inspect machined parts to confirm conformance to drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to improve quality and performance.
- Maintain production documentation and support quality control requirements.

- 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Understanding of geometric tolerances, machining processes, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and materials.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials or parts as required.
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

- Technical certificate or associate degree in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
- Experience with CNC programming, including G-code and M-code.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with multi-axis machining centers.
- Aerospace and defense manufacturing experience.
