CNC Machinists needed! Manufacturing facility in Carson City, NV is hiring - need machinists for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates CNC machine tools (grinding and milling machines), to cut and produce precision manufactured parts.
- Repair or produce parts using both manual and automated tools/equipment with precise measurements per blueprints/drawings/schematics.
Requirements for this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of previous manufacturing machining experience.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to read blueprints
Positions are for 2nd and 3rd shifts only. 2nd shifts are from 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., including weekends. 3rd shifts are from 9 p.m. - 6::30 a.m. including weekends. Shift differential is also paid, between $2-$4 more per hour depending on work schedule and days off.
This is a full time, direct hire position paying up to $29/hr. depending upon shift and schedule. Company offers a very robust full benefits package.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening, including marijuana. As a government contractor, employees must be natural citizens of the US and must provide a US Passport or certified copy of birth certificate for interview.
