Job Summary:

A CNC Machinist operates computer-controlled machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. This role involves setting up equipment, reading technical drawings, monitoring production, and ensuring all finished parts meet exact specifications. CNC Machinists play a key role in manufacturing by creating high-quality components used in industries like aerospace, automotive, and medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and machine settings for each job
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers
• Adjust machine settings to maintain precision and quality
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
• Troubleshoot issues with machines or production processes

Required Skills and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• Experience operating CNC machinery or similar equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately
• Good problem-solving and mechanical skills
