Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Carson City, NV. This role is ideal for a skilled manufacturing professional with hands-on machining experience who takes pride in producing high-quality precision parts.
The CNC Machine Operator will program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines in a production environment focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines and conventional machines according to production specifications.
- Load programs and perform simple program edits as needed under supervisor direction.
- Inspect, measure, and verify parts using handheld measuring tools to ensure specifications are met.
- Blend surfaces and add or remove excess material using hand tools or machinery.
- Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools for part modification and production.
- Follow safety, quality, 5S, ISO, environmental, and production standards at all times.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.62 to $33.82 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Location: Carson City, NV.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce quality parts.
- Inspect and measure machined parts to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Perform simple program edits, machine setups, and part modifications as needed.
- Maintain safe, clean, organized, and quality-focused work areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Passing grade on a job-related test required.
- CNC machine operation or related machining experience required, with 3 to 5 years of experience ideal.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Ability to use handheld measuring tools.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, safety, and production specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience with 5S standards, ISO quality requirements, or computerized production tracking systems preferred.
- Experience blending surfaces, using fixtures, and performing precision part modifications preferred.
