Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder for a direct hire opportunity in Chatsworth, CA supporting precision manufacturing for the aerospace industry. The CNC Grinder will set up and operate CNC grinding equipment, read blueprints, perform inspections, and troubleshoot machining or quality issues. Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify quality and tolerance requirements.
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to inspect finished parts.
- Troubleshoot machining, setup, tooling, and quality issues during production.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $28 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job type: Direct hire
- Location: Chatsworth, CA.
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Swing Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Set up and operate CNC grinding machines for precision aerospace components.
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to complete machining requirements.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot machining and quality issues to maintain production standards.
- 3 or more years of CNC machining or CNC grinding experience.
- CNC setup and operation experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, and inspection tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must pass background and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision component production.
- Experience producing parts to tight tolerances.
- CNC grinding experience in a high-quality, regulated manufacturing environment.
