ABOUT THE JOB: We are seeking a Certified Payroll Administrator to join our team! This role goes beyond standard payroll—managing complex, compliance-heavy reporting for government contracts, prevailing wage projects, and union requirements within a construction environment. You’ll ensure accuracy in wages, taxes, and deductions while handling strict reporting.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports for government contracts within a construction environment.
• Verify compliance with labor laws, prevailing wage rates, and contract requirements.
• Gather and confirm wage data from timesheets and subcontractor payrolls.
• Monitor transfers and process adjustments to meet state and federal regulations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audits.
• Manage administrative tasks including licenses, contracts, insurance, and bonds.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED required, additional education a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction payroll/certified payroll/union payroll or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, union rules, and certified payroll processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
