Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle on assigned local daytime routes.
- Transport and deliver hazardous materials in compliance with DOT, Hazmat, and company safety regulations.
- Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery paperwork, and compliance documentation.
- Load, unload, and handle materials using proper safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members to support on-time deliveries.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle safely on local delivery routes.
- Transport hazardous materials in accordance with DOT and Hazmat regulations.
- Perform required vehicle inspections and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
- Load, unload, and deliver materials while following proper handling and safety procedures.

- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Current Hazmat endorsement required.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record and strong safety history required.
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling procedures.
- Ability to lift, load, and unload materials as needed.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience transporting hazardous materials.
- Tanker endorsement experience, if applicable.
- Strong documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance awareness.
- Experience working local routes with frequent customer stops.
