Job Description:
We are seeking a Buyer responsible for the procurement of products for the company’s inventory, ensuring continuity of supply and meeting operational needs. The selected candidate will evaluate price, quantity, quality, and delivery methods, while maintaining high standards of efficiency, service, and alignment with the company’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and confirm properly approved purchase requisitions.

Generate and manage purchase orders in the Acumatica system based on consumption, demand, and customer orders.

Follow up on purchase orders and estimated delivery times with suppliers.

Update delivery dates in Acumatica on a weekly basis.

Communicate delays, changes, or situations impacting deliveries in a timely manner.

Coordinate and notify impacted departments about supply changes or issues.

Analyze inventory levels and back orders for purchasing planning.

Create and maintain updated items in the system (descriptions, costs, and prices).

Perform final product cost analysis (landed cost).

Contact suppliers to address pricing, quality, delivery, or billing matters.

Provide administrative support to department operations.

Actively contribute to the fulfillment of the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Additional Responsibilities:

Manage supplier claims related to warranties or defective merchandise.

Prepare quarterly supplier forecasts in Acumatica.

Prepare inventory analysis reports.

Participate in meetings, committees, and corporate activities.

Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent college credits).

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in a similar position or related functions.

Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, effective communication, ability to manage multiple tasks, and customer service orientation.

Systems: Experience or knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Acumatica).
