Position Overview The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the organization’s operational needs. This role ensures materials are procured at the best possible value while maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages. Review and process purchase requisitions from internal departments. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases. Resolve issues related to shipments, invoices, and quality discrepancies. Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with operations, finance, and other teams to align purchasing with business needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field preferred. 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software/ERP systems. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and build effective vendor relationships. Knowledge of procurement best practices and relevant regulations.
