Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $15–$17/hour, based on experience

Position Overview:
A professional services firm in downtown Shreveport is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Business Services Assistant to support both administrative operations and basic accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and is comfortable juggling client coordination, office support, and financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Provide front-line support to internal teams and clients
Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation with accuracy
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
Maintain organized records and assist with data entry
Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person
Support special projects and general office operations
Accounting Support:
Assist with accounts receivable and payable tasks
Process invoices, receipts, and basic reconciliations
Track client payments and follow up on outstanding balances
Help prepare financial reports and maintain accounting files
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional communication and customer service abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Willingness to learn accounting software and office systems
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Prior experience in office administration or accounting is a plus
