We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven CNC Machine Tool Business Manager in Tempe, Arizona. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the sale of our innovative CNC machine tools and engineering services. By establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our current customer base, as well as developing new business opportunities, this role contributes directly to the growth and success of the company. The successful candidate will serve customers across various industries, providing them with the best manufacturing solutions and exceptional customer support.
Compensation:
Business Managers are paid 100% through commissions.
A draw against commission will be provided at a negotiated rate per month, payable semi-monthly on the 15th and last day of the month.
Key Responsibilities:
Successfully sell CNC machine tools and engineering services by meeting or exceeding individual sales goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through direct engagement and understanding their business needs.
Gain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the CNC machine tool industry, products, and services.
Keep up-to-date with competitor products and services to effectively position our offerings.
Identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
Manage critical projects through the installation process and ensure customer satisfaction during initial run-offs.
Foster ongoing communication and feedback between internal teams and customers to ensure alignment and success.
Collaborate across departments to support the sales and customer experience processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial sales with a focus on CNC mills and lathes.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with a deep understanding of CNC machine tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills including collaboration, listening, and relationship-building.
Strong project management and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in sales CRM software (preferably SalesForce) and Microsoft Excel.
A competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a drive for success and exceeding targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the CNC machine tool industry is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration.
